A fundraising footrace and fun walk
for the historic preservation of the
1769 Meetinghouse at First Parish

Support Meetinghouse preservation by participaing in,
sponsoring, or volunteering for two exciting events that
start and finish at First Parish Church and wind past
historic sites in East Derry.

5 Mile Competitive Running Race — starts at 9:00 AM

2.5 Mile Fun Walk — Starts at 9:15 AM

Custom running bibs, water, and runner snacks are included in the registration. The first 300 5-Mile Racers will also receive a custom Meetinghouse Five t-shirt. Offical staging and chip timing is donated by New England Timing.

Breakfast snacks and guided tours of the historic Meetinghouse will be available. The event is rain or shine.

All proceeds go to the Meetinghouse Rehab Effort

Tier One: $1,000 and above

Appear prominently on our website with a linked large logo and 250-word description. Also have a large logo on the race t-shirt, strong emphasis in printed and press materials, and the $300 value of 10 free race registrations with t-shirts.

Tier Two: $500 – $999

Get a medium sized logo and 75-word website description, with a medium logo on the race t-shirt, mention in printed and press materials, and 5 free race registrations.

Tier One: $250 – $499

Get a small logo on the website and t-shirt, be listed in printed and press materials, and 2 free race registrations.

Volunteer Opportunities

Help make the Five a success by volunteering your services.

Race Day Positions

  • Registration Table: Assist with check-in for runners and walkers, manage new registrations, and give out shirts and bibs.

  • Course Monitors: Ensure runners stay on course and remain safe.

  • Refreshment Tables: Give runners and walkers water and snacks.

  • Water Station: Feed runners at the halfway-point of the race; clean up after.

Get advance training and give guided tours showcasing the Meetinghouse’s history and preservation work.
